Group Tour Policy – Lincoln Highway Experience

We’re delighted to welcome groups to the Lincoln Highway Experience! Whether you’re traveling with a motorcoach, club, school, or community group, we offer a unique and enriching experience centered on America’s first coast-to-coast road.

Group Size and Requirements

  • Group rates are available for groups of 12 or more admission-paying visitors.
  • Advance reservations are required, ideally at least two weeks in advance.
  • One group leader or chaperone is required for every 15 participants in student or youth groups.

Recommended Time Allotment

  • We recommend allotting 2 hours for your visit to allow time for the guided tour, shopping and logistics of arrival and departure.

Tour Format

  • The tour format may vary based on group sizes and needs.
    • Smaller groups may be given the Tour Mate audio wand customarily used for general admission.
    • Larger groups may be guided by a trained docent and/or split into smaller groups for ease of movement through exhibits.
  • Tours can be customized to meet your group’s specific interests or schedule.

Admission and Payment

  • Current group rates:
    • $10 per adult
    • $7 per youth (ages 6–17)
  • Children 5 and under are admitted free.
  • Payment is due upon arrival unless prior arrangements are made.
  • One group payment is preferred by cash, check, or credit card.

Cancellations and Changes

  • Please notify us of cancellations or major changes at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Groups arriving with fewer than 12 people may be charged standard admission rates.

Arrival and Check-In

  • Groups should arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled tour time.
  • Bus and car parking is available on-site.
  • The group leader should check in at the museum front desk upon arrival.

Accessibility

  • The museum is fully accessible to visitors with mobility needs.
  • If special accommodations are needed, please inform us at the time of booking.

Gift Shop and Outdoor Space

  • Groups are encouraged to browse our gift shop, featuring Lincoln Highway books, souvenirs, and local items.
  • Picnic tables are available outside on a first-come, first-served basis.

Group Etiquette

  • We ask all guests to be respectful of museum property, exhibits, and staff.
  • Groups engaging in disruptive behavior may be asked to end their visit early.
