Johnston House Roof Replacement Project
The Lincoln Highway Heritage Corridor (LHHC) is seeking proposals for services to replace the roof on the historic 19th century Johnston House (listed on the National Register of Historic Places) at the site of the Lincoln Highway Experience museum at 3435 State Route 30 East, Latrobe, PA 15650.
The information in this RFP will describe the overall goals of the roof replacement project, the organization, consultant qualifications and requirements for the submission of a proposal.
Each submission will be reviewed by the LHHC staff and the Building & Grounds Committee of the LHHC, which consists of members of the LHHC’s Board of Directors. The LHHC’s regional advisor from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) will also review the proposals and make recommendations based on the content of the submissions.
This roof replacement project is partially funded by a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Bureau of Recreation and Conservation. The Bureau has certain requirements and standards that must be met by our organization and the selected Contractor. This Request for Proposal has been prepared to meet those requirements and standards. Certain documents may be subject to review and approval. Keep in mind, this RFP seeks not only the right consultant, but also pricing estimates that stay within the LHHC’s budget from its Round 26 Community Conservation Partnerships Program (C2P2) grant application to the DCNR in April 2020. Work should begin between the LHHC and the chosen consultant by mid-2022.
Proposal submissions are due by March 31, 2023 and submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to:

Proposals will be opened at the time and date, and location indicated above. The Proposals shall remain firm for not less than thirty (30) calendar days from the date of receipt of the Proposal. Bidders guarantee that all goods and services meet the requirements of the solicitation during the contract period.
